Thomsen  This report presents a comparative environmental assessment of six Danish cereal cropping systems with different straw removal rates using a life cycle assessment (LCA) approach. The assessment involves impacts of winter wheat seeding date and intercropping with oilseed radish between consecutive winter wheat crops. The report also works as documentation for a spreadsheet-based greenhouse gas (GHG) calculator that can be used to change assumptions and assess other cropping systems. The report represents a sub-component of the PlantePro project (Miljøsikret planteproduktion til foder og energi) co-funded by the Green Development and Demonstration Program (GUDP). |
